The Roots' third studio album Illadelph Halflife celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2016.  As part of Universal Music's Respect the Classics campaign, this long out-of-print jawn is coming back on a double-LP on black vinyl.  

It features a tougher and broader sound than their previous album, .  The album was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums.  In 2006, the album was selected as one of Hip-Hop Connection's 100 Best Rap Albums from 1995 to 2005.
